Thunder Jazz Band

The Thunder Jazz 1 is one of the top performing ensembles in the THMS band program. Made up of primarily 7th and 8th grade students, the Thunder Jazz band is a class for students that have successfully completed at least one year of music and are ready for a step up in challenge. Students in this group will perform at least 4 times a year and participate in the Albuquerque Jazz Festival in February. Placement in this group is at the discretion of the band directors.
